A1-Marvin Belton - Back to Africa

A2-Scott Ferguson - Dancing in circles

B1-Reggie Dokes - Transformation

B2-Juju & Jordash - El silencio parte 1

The new year starts with the arrival of a new shot from Deep Explorer music. A special Ep that

celebrate the 10th release in vinyl. Something not easy in these hard times for the old and lovely vinyl format. To celebrate this emotional moment we bring back the best fine tunes of the deep house scene making a special tribute to two of the most influential labels of the American country. We are talking about FerrisPark and Psychostasia.

With a side full for each label, it opens with the soul singer Marvin Belton with his ''Back to Africa'' a percussive vocal tune that grows step by step among a sea of Detroit atmosfears.

High voltage soulful stuff for vocal´s lovers.

To close the side, the owner of Ferris Park. With ''Dancing in circles'' Scott use his weapons mixing disco, funky horns and deep chords inducing a happy house feeling that will move your feet.

The B side walks in another way of the deep ?.the techno deep?

Fire is opened with ''Transformation'' by Reggie Dokes, the mind behind Psychostasia, the cult label from Detroit known too for his releases to Detroit beatdown and Sound Signature.

A pioneer of the techno sound (the real techno sound that coming from Detroit?you know)

simply could offer the best mix between two earths: percussive house and melodic techno?

hipnotyc and spiritual at same time. Reggie rules!

To close the circle Juju and Jordash (Psychostasia, Real Soon, Underground Quality) let the things jazzy with a slowdown techno rhythm. If you know their sound must know that they don´t make house exactly but you will find their music in all the house charts. Why? Well..listen ''El silencio part 1'' to understand it.
