''Blackout Industries'' comes with intention: to introduce a double mixed set with more than 2 hours of music from both labels: exquisitely mixed by Pablo Bolivar for Dpress Industries with his ''Deep Resolution Mix'' and 2 Rare People for Blackout'77 with his ''Red Season Mix''. Dpress Industries and BlackOut'77 join forces to deliver the very best of themselves with this double pack. Pablo's ''Deep Resolution Mix'' is for more relaxed, groovy minds and classic techno lovers, while 2 Rare People's ''Red Season Mix'' delivers slamming grooves to all those who expect to have a new sensation for modern techno.
----------------------------------
Dpress Industries was founded in 2001 and has become one of the main and most exportable labels from the Spanish electronic scene. After an initial period focussing on Deep-House with Tech-House influences, where artists like Nacho Marco, Garcynoise, Jeff Bennett, Murray Richardson, Ernesto Altes & Guillermo Morro, Magic Vibes, etc. released some of their best productions, now Dpress has moved into a new dimension of sound, drawing influences from classic Detroit Techno and from new musical waves like Minimal-Techno and Electro. Artists like Pablo Bolivar, Tony Blunt, 2 Rare People and Undo & Vicknoise have become key in introducing the new sound to the label, and have released an amazing array of records in the past 2 years. The label now has collaborations with some well respected and well known international artists like Soultek (Echospace, SiteHolder), Brian Aneurysm (Iron Box Music, Audiomatique), Arne Weinberg (AW Recordings, Headspace), Djinxx (Electronic Resistance, Sahkatek), AlexKid (F Communications), Pantha Du Prince (Dial), Mikkel Metal (Echocord, Kompakt) ...
The actual Dpress Industries sound is a perfect mixture of Deep Tech-House and Minimal Detroit House. Some of the past and recent releases have been played and charted by artists including Laurent Garnier, Ivan Smagghe, Jack de Marseille, Ralph Lawson, Pascal FEOS, Terry Francis, Fabrice Lig, Vince Watson, Dave Mothersole, Transparent Sound...
BlackOut'77 has established itself as a leading imprint of the renewed modern techno scene coming from Spain. Originally started in 2004 as a sub-division of Decoder Muzique, Blackout'77 has grown to 10 releases available on single vinyl and one artist album by 2 Rare People in 2006. The label has gained a strong reputation with every release becoming a dance-floor sure player. Blackout has featured a talented group of national producers (2 Rare People, Jose Rodriguez, Los Chicos del Barrio?) have collaborated with well known international artists including Nicholas Wood (Ovum Recordings), Pascal Feos (Cocoon), Gregory Shiff (Persona), Miss Yetti (Gold und Liebe), Kosmas Epsilon (Deep Records), etc...
